2023 Fall Discipleship Groups

Our Fall Discipleship classes will run in six-week increments, each covering a different strand of the church’s DNA. Once you register for the first strand, you will automatically be moved to the next strand for the next session until they’ve covered all four. There is no need to re-register.

Prayer: Talking About Practice - Developing Prayer as an Everyday Practice (IN-PERSON ONLY)

For many, our prayers are informed by our lives. But what if it were possible for our lives to be informed by our prayers? This class will help us understand what it means to have lives shaped by the practice of prayer.

Fellowship: Spiritual Living in a Secular World (IN-PERSON ONLY)

We know that God loves us and has chosen us. But what does that look like in a world that does not choose God? How do we reflect what it means to be loved by God as a Christian community? This course will help us understand what it means to live as God’s people in the world around us.

Worship: Be Sure to Say Thank You - Being Grounded by Gratitude (Virtual & In-Person)

Langston Hughes once said, “Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.” There always seems to be a new challenge, and in some moments, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. It is possible for us to lose sight of the importance of being grateful, especially as children of God. This course will help us to maintain a steadiness of gratitude, even in the uneasiness of life.

Service: Partnering with God - Fighting Injustice (In-Person & Virtual)

Good Grief (VIRTUAL ONLY)

The bad news is that this upcoming season can be a difficult one for a lot of people, especially those who are struggling with the grief in whatever form it takes. The good news is that we can rely on Scripture to help us identify our feelings, communicate them, and lean on God during these tough times. Join us to understand how to navigate through feelings of grief.
