Music & Arts
Using music and dance as a means to praise and worship God dates back to the Old Testament. Whether it was timbrels, harps, and lyres, or the dance of David, worshippers have always shown their reverence and love for God through the creative and fine arts.
At Antioch, praising and worshipping God is an integral part of our Worship Service Experience. On any given Sunday, our Praise Team or one of our six choirs is ready to share the word of God through high-energy contemporary and traditional music.
From original music composed by our Minister of Music, Paul Jackson, and our gifted musicians, to singing well-known Gospel and Christian songs, we use music as a means of ministering to believers and non-believers.
We also have a gifted Praise Dance Ministry and Mime Ministry who often share God's word through creativity, compassion and carefully choreographed moves. While the Mimes of Creation are often seen as the "silent" ministry, the truth is, both ministries are able to demonstrate that you can praise and worship God without ever uttering a word.
If you are ready to share your gift of ministry through song, praise dance or miming, we invite you to attend our rehearsals.
