Welcome to Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where “We Build People.” Antioch was founded in 1986 at the Zale Library on the campus of Bishop College in Dallas. Rev. Karry D. Wesley, a then-recent graduate of the college, met with other like-believers to share the vision that God had placed on his heart. After several meetings, a group of some 150 Christian believers established the Provisional Baptist Fellowship. Later that same year, in 1986, the church officially became the Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Since that time, the church has grown to a progressive membership of more than 5,500, with more than 60 ministries! There is a ministry available for all ages and interests. At the end of each Worship Experience, we pause for the most important part of the service; the Invitation to Discipleship. It is at this time that those seeking salvation, rededication or membership into our family of faith, are extended an invitation to come forward. Because this is a very personal and celebrated moment in your life, we treat this period with the utmost respect. We have Decision Team members who are ready to receive you and speak with you one-on-one about your specific decision.
If you then desire to become a part of Antioch’s family of faith, the next step is to attend New Members’ Orientation. The classes meet each 3rd Saturday at 9:00 AM and are led by our very own Pastor Dr. Karry D. Wesley. We know how it is getting acclimated to a new family and we want that transition to be as smooth as possible. During the class, you’ll not only learn about Antioch, but also you’ll learn about God’s purpose for your life!
